Kite-course-racing, early days of development 2006

By Captain

San Francisco is definitely the birth place of course racing, thanks to the St. Francis YC and people like John Gomes and Jim Keriakas who have the vision of taking the world of sailing to new heights. They have worked hard to school the old school that kites are the way of the future not only for boards but for boats also, which should be soon to follow in the next few years.
