During the 2010 Spring Series I shot this brief video of the GPS laying procedure and the ‘easy option’ recovery — it was filmed during a ‘quiet moment’, so you see it exactly as it was. Speaking over wind and engine noise, my voice-over is a bit monotone, for which I apologise… I was director, cameraman and narrator – and I was trying to drive the boat with the other hand…! We did two takes of the pickup, but time was pressing and the laying process was filmed in one take, so I’m not too unhappy with the result. All comments welcome. Tony M
