Sailing in 35 to 45 knots under storm jib and Tri Sail, squally but relatively comfortable. Still doing 6-7 knots boat speed through the water, with 45-50 degrees course over ground achieved when traveling above six knots. A good choice of sails to achieve the desired destination at noon. On other occassions when the wind is constantly over 50 knots the storm jib is lowered and the vessel sailed with a course over the ground of about 70-80 degrees off the wind.
