1800 Miles Sailing to Weather – Marshall Islands to Fiji
By
The trip back to Fiji was the passage from hell. It took us over 16 days, hard on the wind with days and days of 30+ knots at 45 degrees apparent. Lightening sometimes lasted for seven hours straight, with bolts landing all around us. We did get some good fishing in though!!

Wow! Doesn’t the motion get to you guys? (I noticed how much the boat was bouncing around to start) Yummy free fish!

The fish on the right panel is not a Marlin, that is a shortbilled spearfish.

Love it.. what was the Marlin’s fate? he he. On such a long trip I’d be wary of fish blood & guts stinking the boat out, how did you deal with that? What kind of yacht is Billabong? Cheers
